After years of advocacy by Music United and its predecessor UCCAM, The United Church of Canada has adopted a new ministry category for musicians!
Congregational Designated Ministers (CDM) and Designated Lay Ministers (DLM) have been part of the rubric of ministries in the United Church since 2000. Now church musicians and the communities they serve have the opportunity to acknowledge and name these valued ministries.
